Broadband: The Road to Connected Communities

As the pandemic demonstrated, broadband is no longer a luxury; it is a lifeline — connecting Americans to doctors, teachers, colleagues, friends and family. But many Americans still lack access to high-speed connectivity.
This panel will explore the opportunities that broadband access affords and look at how public, private and non-profit programs are working to bridge the digital divide. Additionally, this all-female panel will pay particular attention to the opportunities and challenges women and people of color face in gaining access to affordable broadband and the policies and programs that offer solutions.
