Where is my mind? Surviving Grief Meet Up
How to find ways to thrive, reevaluate our lives and find grace amidst a serious health condition? Last March, I was diagnosed with a non-malignant brain tumor and had successful surgery in May. Up until today, many things went through my mind: starting at "I'm way too young for this" to "I'll give my loved ones a lot of grief" and finally "I need to be kinder and prouder of myself", and everything in between. From a patient's perspective, this meet up is all about creating a support system of kindness and learning for friends, family and the person going through the ordeal.
Our goal is to share my story and this experience to anyone who has experienced grief or moments that demand high resilience and how we need to have constructive conversations about serious illnesses. All are welcomed.
