Breaking Into Hollywood: Rising Through The Ranks
Hollywood is an industry often built off of nepotism and relationships, so how on earth can you get your foot in the door without having these connections yourself? And what job should you even be looking for in the first place? Despite coming from varying backgrounds and qualifications, all four of our speakers moved to LA without any insider connections (or a clue about where to begin!) and were able to rise through the ranks, starting at the bottom as assistants and eventually becoming producers in various creative executive roles. This panel discussion will examine the best ways for aspiring young executives and producers to enter into Hollywood's increasingly demanding and competitive landscape and explore how to thrive and move up the ranks once you land the job of your dreams.
