Google's quantum computing team made headlines around the world in October 2019 by becoming the first to perform a calculation that’s practically impossible for a classical computer to perform, a feat recognized by Science magazine’s 2019 Breakthrough of the Year.
Now the team is working towards the next — even harder — milestone: building an error-corrected quantum computer. There's still a lot of work to do and the team thinks they might be able to accomplish that moonshot goal within the decade. Learn more about what it will take from Google's Quantum AI leads.
