Writing Your First Book: By Women of Color Authors

Recent studies show the world of book publishing remains overwhelmingly white and much of the information needed to publish a book remains hidden from those without the right connections or privileges. As women of color writers and published authors, we want to share our lessons learned while navigating the publishing industry and share our book writing journey. From the initial ideation to submitting the proposal to getting a book deal to marketing and selling, we'll share practical tips and mistakes to avoid for anyone aspiring to be a published author.
