Featured Session: What’s Your Life’s Soundtrack? How Music Creates the Score to Our Lives

People around the world are longing for connection in a time filled with so much uncertainty. As the music industry makes its comeback, music’s power to create human connection - to the past and present - has never been more evident. Everyone knows the feeling. A song comes on, and it can transport you back to a moment in time, a special memory. Today, more than 6 million Americans are losing these moments to Alzheimer’s, and this number is projected to skyrocket to nearly 13 million by 2050. The Alzheimer’s Association continues to team up with a diverse array of artists for their award-winning platform, Music Moments, a digital storytelling series featuring moments we never want to lose, signifying to people impacted by Alzheimer’s and all other dementia that they are not alone.
