From the outset, Putin’s invasion of Ukraine was unprovoked, premeditated, and illegal. In this darkest of hours, the European Union has boosted its support for Ukraine and introduced, together with the United States, unprecedented sanctions against Russia including in the tech field. This clash between the rule of law and the rule of the gun is existential.
