It promises to revolutionize everybody’s relationship with money through a huge range of new DeFi utilities, from smart contracts to cheap and instant money transfers. The problem is DeFi’s ‘niche’ perception: the idea that it’s only of interest to a small group of traders. In reality, decentralized finance is for everyone — especially the unbanked and underbanked.
