Brooklyn-based artist Charlotte Rose Benjamin announced her anticipated debut album entitled Dreamtina, set for an independent release on April 22. To mark the announcement, Benjamin has released the music video for her new single, “Satisfied,” a track with a campfire style earnestness hijacked by a Weezer-like gargantuan hook in which she recounts a story about a recent ex-boyfriend. Self produced alongside her bandmates, Nardo Ochoa, Matti Dunietz and Zoe Zeeman, Charlotte Rose Benjamin’s debut album finds her analyzing her identity in correlation to romantic relationships and in comparison to “Dreamtina,” a fictitious namesake for the effortlessly-perfect girl you see and aspire to be.

Most recently, Benjamin sat down to perform a live session for Paste and headlined a show at Bushwick’s exciting new venue, Brooklyn Made. She’s also begun working with High Road Touring’s Wilson Zheng (Soccer Mommy, Mitski, Squirrel Flower) for future bookings.
