Tomi Lahtinen, better known by his stage name, tomppabeats is a Finnish musician, record producer, beatmaker, DJ, composer, and arranger.

Based in Helsinki, Finland, he has been known for his primarily loop-based beats that are compiled into expansive, conceptual albums such as his debut “Harbor LP” and his sophomore reinvention “Arcade”. The legacy of tomppabeats originally started out on the nascent yet growing Internet forum communities, but it wasn’t until the emergence of new media platforms that embraced user-generated content did the young musician's career start to see momentum. This world-renowned musician has become a mandatory name to know of in the world of beatmaking as his interpretation on atmospheric instrumental music has taken on several inspirations, sampling genres like left-field hip-hop and jazz into palatable pleasures that some fans have referred to as: “what love would sound like.”
