bad tuner at Higher Ground

Date TBA

The Brooklyn-based producer, bad tuner, is challenging the mold when it comes to thumping house music (FLAUNT). Having a distinct DIY progressive sound has made him stand out brightly in the electronic space (SPIN). Keeping good company, his latest releases are arriving through the new electronic imprint, LG105, home to Ross From Friends, Fakear and Mall Grab.

Catching an early eye from BBC Radio 1’s Pete Tong with ‘Coming Down’, his tracks are continuing to be spun regularly by tastemaker stations & DJs globally including KCRW, ChillXM, Ben Malone (Kiss FM UK), Danny Howard (BBCR1), and RMC.

bad tuner grabbed the attention of TOKiMONSTA back in 2019, and supported her on the ‘Young Art Sound II Tour’ after releasing a couple tracks on her label, Young Art Records. His remix for her track ‘Phases’ has gone on to become a fan favorite, and propelled him to lend his unique remix take for the likes of Zeds Dead and Two Another.

Pairing his innovative DJ sets with his lively stage presence, bad tuner has built a name for himself in the Brooklyn scene, coming out of the pandemic with his frequent headlines selling out across the city.
