Rick Famuyiwa grew up in 1980s Inglewood, CA near The Forum during the height of the “Showtime” Lakers’ reign. His director credits include “The Wood” (directed & wrote), “Confirmation,” the pilot for “The Chi” (also EP), “Brown Sugar” (directed & co-wrote), “Dope” (directed & wrote) & several episodes of “The Mandalorian” (directed & wrote).
