Ashley Eakin

Ashley Eakin is a writer/director born with a physical disability. Her film Single, produced in the AFI Directing Workshop for Women, won the 2020 SXSW Special Jury Recognition Award and has gone on to play at 40 festivals. Currently, Eakin is part of the Netflix Emerging Filmmaker Initiative and has also directed TV episodes for Apple and Disney+.
