Born and raised in Osaka, Japan, KOTA has been the Japan/Asia Manager for world-renowned music label Stones Throw Records since 2009. Based in Los Angeles since 2006, he'd DJ at local LA clubs as well as open for Stones Throw artists at shows and on tours. Now, you can hear him DJing on a weekly basis around LA or on his NTS residency show. His diverse taste ranges from eclectic sounds of Hip Hop, Soul, Jazz, Funk, Disco, House, and more.
