Hindou Oumarou Ibrahim is an environmental activist, member of Chad’s pastoralist Mbororo community, President of the Association for Indigenous Women and Peoples of Chad (AFPAT), Conservation International Senior Fellow, UN Sustainable Development Goal Advocate and Earthshot Prize Council member. She also received the 2020 Pritzker Environmental Genius award.
