Jillian Lauren

Jillian Lauren is a New York Times bestselling author, adoption advocate, mother of two sons, and rockwife to Weezer bassist Scott Shriner. She is the author of the memoirs Everything You Ever Wanted and Some Girls: My Life in a Harem, and the novel Pretty. Some Girls, which chronicles her time spent in the harem of the Prince of Brunei, has been translated into 18 languages. Lauren's writing has been published in The New York Times, New York Magazine, Vanity Fair, The Paris Review, The Los Angeles Times, Elle, The Daily Beast, Salon, amongst others, and has been anthologized in The Moth Anthology and True Tales of Lust and Love. Her new true crime book, about serial killer Samuel Little, is upcoming from Dutton.
