Po Kutchins
Po Kutchins is an Emmy Award winning Director, Executive Producer, and Showrunner, who has worked in television and film for the past 25 years. Po has developed and produced a wide range of documentaries, pilots, limited series, multi-season series, and sizzles, in areas of criminal justice, law enforcement, true crime, politics, medical, as well as workplace and family follow docs, for networks including Showtime, CNN, HBO/Cinemax, A&E, TLC, Nat Geo, Lifetime, Bravo, History, Oxygen, BBC America, WE, VH1 and Discovery. Of note: Po created and served as EP/Showrunner on the 6-episode limited series “The Murder of Laci Peterson” for A&E. Her feature film “Prison Town, USA” for POV/PBS was called “documentary filmmaking at its best” by the S.F. Chronicle, “Intriguing and smartly constructed” by The New York Times, and “The best of the L.A. Film Festival” by LA Weekly. IFC commissioned her to develop “Prison Town, USA” as a scripted series for which she wrote the pilot. Po recently wrapped as the Executive Producer of Director Joe Berlinger’s next premium true crime documentary series "Confronting a Serial Killer", about America’s most prolific serial killer: Samuel Little, which will premier at SSXW film festival in March, 2021.
