Matthew Donegan-Ryan

Matthew Donegan-Ryan has been a pioneering entrepreneur in the event industry since 2005. In his current role as the General Manager of Swapcard, Donegan-Ryan is providing Swapcard’s AI powered matchmaking and event apps to US conferences, trade shows, and events. Donegan-Ryan has helped lead two previous companies to successful acquisitions: CrowdCompass by Cvent and Thriva by the Active Network (later acquired by Vista Equity Partners and merged with Cvent). He has also served as an advisor, consultant, or investor in many event technology companies including Attendify, Eventcore, Event Manager Blog (acquired by Skift), FastBar, Presdo, Social Tables (acquired by Cvent) and others.
