Kim joined the Athleta team in June 2020, taking on a new role as Chief Digital Officer, overseeing Athleta’s digital strategy and experiences from a consumer point of view. She leads their e-commerce business as well as other key levers across the digital ecosystem including digital marketing & media, customer strategy, and store digital experiences. Kim is a customer-obsessed, digital innovator—most recently having spearheaded Athleta’s mobile app growth, driven omnichannel initiatives such as Virtual Styling and evolved the brand’s media strategy to become a truly digital-first consumer brand.
Prior to Athleta, she was with Sephora, where she was most recently VP/GM for the company’s ecommerce business in North America and launched trailblazing initiatives including the brand’s strategic partnership on Instagram shopping. Kim has an MBA from Stanford and lives in San Francisco.
