Channing Godfrey Peoples
Channing Godfrey Peoples is a Texas native and MFA graduate of USC Film School. Her feature debut MISS JUNETEENTH was named Best Directorial Debut by the National Board of Review. Her films are character-driven stories focused on the resilience of the human spirit, featuring Black women at a turning point. She has an incredible 2-year-old daughter.
