SXSW Pitch is a platform to allow early-stage technology startups to pitch their product and/or services to industry technology experts, high profiled media personnel, and Venture Capitalists / Angel Investors. Five companies will pitch to our panel of judges with their ideas, innovations, product and/or service on Wednesday, March 17th. We will announce the winner of the Social & Culture Technology at the SXSW Pitch Awards Ceremony on Saturday, March 20th at 3:00pm.
 
Social & Culture :Technologies that explore and expand the boundaries of how humans experience life as individuals, as communities, and as global citizens. Examples of such sectors include but are not limited to social media and networking, family-tech, dating and friendship, travel and hospitality, environment and climate change, home, fashion, and consumer tech. This category also covers social enterprise technologies that aim to solve social or societal problems, impact positive change, and improve lives.
