Fighting Unconscious Bias in AI with Diversity
Gender diversity in technology – specifically AI – is lacking. Low-biased, ethical, and fair AI systems require a diverse workforce of humans. As investment in AI capabilities increases across industries and countries, there is an urgent need to incorporate diversity in the design of AI systems to ensure the widespread growth of AI is fair and equitable to all. In this panel, we’ll discuss the issue of biases in AI and how increasing diversity in the field of AI can reduce biases and allow for more trustworthy and ethical systems.
