Plastic is Not the Problem
Plastics undeniably causes incredible damage through pollution and other health problems, but the revolution of sustainability asks us to go deeper than hashtag trends so we see the rich value in plastic and embrace that the real problem is humanity’s systemic abuse of it. For instance, did you know that plastic bottles actually have a lower carbon footprint than glass bottles throughout the entirety of their lifecycle?
The path forward requires advanced design thinking, cross-industry collaboration, and empathy. Instead of vilifying “plastic,” we get to ask: “What are the good things to retain about plastic, and how can we innovate out the harmful things?” Join our expert panel to discover how to revolutionize a sustainable plastic industry and heal the world along the way.
