Interactive Media: Addressing Civil Rights & Race
Interactive storytelling continues to grow in popularity, engaging participants in exciting new ways from immersive visual design to creative elements that provide audio experiences. Known primarily as a documentary series, FRONTLINE PBS has also produced several Emmy Award-winning interactive projects. The latest, UN(RE)SOLVED is an exploration into the unsolved Civil Rights era cold cases and their relationship to today’s cases concerning racial violence. Join Executive Producers Raney Aronson-Rath and Dawn Porter, and IDA Pres. Brenda Robinson, in a discussion on producing an interactive project that features innovative storytelling, a podcast series and an immersive exhibition, all to address America’s difficult history and national conversation on race.
