Sebastian Herscher

I am a co-founder and CEO/CTO of the pretty awesome startup Parallux. I also completed my PhD under Prof. Ken Perlin at the Future Reality Lab, New York University.

My research area has been human-computer interaction, with a focus on the development of interaction techniques for the democratization of extended reality (XR). I have approached this in two ways: inventing novel interaction techniques and tools for the rapidly evolving virtual workspace, and designing and evaluating tools and experiences for the new medium found at the intersections of large scale XR and entertainment, training, and education.
