Maya Baratz Jordan
Maya Baratz Jordan is the CEO and Partner of Founders Factory New York. Jordan has spent her career both on the operating and investing side - most recently as the Managing Director at Techstars, where she led the program partnered with Comcast NBCUniversal. Under her leadership, this program garnered an NPS score of 100 from participants and supporting teams. Prior to investing in and coaching startups, Jordan has cultivated deep experience in creating new-to-market digital products in both the startup world, as well as the corporate world -- as the Head of New Product Strategy and Development at Disney's ABC Television and, prior to that, as a product leader for companies including The Wall Street Journal, MTV, Flickr and Monster.com. Maya has brokered key relationships between early-stage companies, top-notch talent and scale opportunities. She's a published co-author of The Startup Chef -- a charity cookbook she penned with Homebrew Co-Founder and Partner Hunter Walk -- and she has written extensively about technology and startups for publications spanning from Fortune to Fast Company to Newsweek. Maya is also Harvard University Visiting Fellow alum who has created and led a product development course at institutions including Columbia Business School and General Assembly. In her past career life, she penned Congressional Statements for Senator and presidential candidate John Kerry.
