Paul Hendricks
Paul leads many of the environmental programs at Patagonia, Inc., including overseeing the company’s carbon neutrality strategy and zero waste efforts. In this work, he has been integral to positioning Patagonia as a leader to holistically address some of the most pressing environmental issues we face today. Before joining Patagonia, Paul worked in the non-profit sector, focusing his efforts in supporting communities working at the nexus of environmental and social justice. He heads up a chapter of the American Alpine Club to bring at-risk kids out rock climbing and volunteers with other groups that tie together outdoor recreation and conservation. Paul has a Graduate Certificate in Corporate Sustainability from Harvard, a MA in International Relations from the University of Chicago and a BA in Business, Spanish, and Secondary Education from Hope College. In his free time, he flips back and forth between climbing in the Sierra Nevada and changing his son’s diapers, sometimes combining these two efforts into one.
