Kely Nascimento-Deluca
Born in Santos, Brazil, Kely Nascimento-Deluca is a mom, activist and artist. She is the eldest daughter of Brazilian soccer legend Pelé. Kely attended the United Nations International School and the Parsons School of Design and has worked as an editorial, portrait and social commentary photographer, creative director and producer of multi-media and art projects.
Kely is currently directing a feature documentary as part of a global multi-platform initiative to promote women’s football and gender equality, www.warriorwomenoffootball.com,. She is the founder and president of The Nascimento Project and travels the world speaking on gender equality in sports as well as on the power of storytelling, the arts, sports and activism as tools for social development and for furthering the UNDP 17 Global Goals and for building sustainable peace.
Kely is an advisor of both the UNDP and Eir Sport Global Goals World Cup as well as LEAD Africa.
