Nytesia Ross
A distinguished TEDx speaker and an award-winning published poet, Nytesia Ross has graced many stages across the country, from Texas, New York, California, all the way to the Kennedy Center stage in Washington D.C. She is also a recognized videographer. Her work has been shown at the Association for the Study of African American Life and History Conference in South Carolina as well as the ASALH website.
Among these accomplishments, Nytesia is also a News Producer at KLTV 7 in Tyler, Texas. She has obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in the field of Mass Communications. During her collegiate years at Stephen F. Austin State University, Nytesia was very active. She was the Student Supervisor for the Office of Multicultural Affairs, President of the Eta Epsilon Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., Production Assistant for ESPN3, and the Treasure of NAACP 6812 chapter. Nytesia is also the former National President of Top Teens of America.
Nytesia likes to remind people that if you want to be great you can’t be mediocre. Lastly, Nytesia strongly believes in Philippians 4:13, which states, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me,” and Ecclesiastes 3:11, “God has made everything beautiful in its time.
