Shantelle Williams-Valadié is a business leader driven by a commitment to education technology, capacity building, and international development.
As Associate Director at Coursera, she accompanies universities to bring high quality online education to millions at a fraction of the cost of on-campus learning, including the company’s first-ever online Bachelor’s degree. Before joining Coursera, Shantelle spent years at PwC, developing financial models for key clients building renewable energy and other infrastructure across Europe and Africa.
Shantelle holds an undergraduate degree from Stanford University and a Masters degree from Sciences Po Paris. In addition to English, she speaks fluent French and Spanish, and conversational Italian. She dedicates her spare time to writing and performing music.
