Kevin Blake

Kevin Blake is founder and managing partner of Sierra Verde Capital, an innovative cannabis investment ­fund launched in 2019. It is one of the first fund of funds in cannabis that provides a unique diversified opportunity in the industry. He has been investing in cannabis since 2014 and was an early investor in Pax, Flow Kana, GTI, and Flowhub.

Kevin also has a 19 year career in business and management consulting for clients like Facebook and JP Morgan Chase. He has advised early, seed, and growth stage cannabis companies in all sectors, as well as local government agencies.

He is a board member of Potential Energy LLC (an African-based NGO), an executive council member for the Sanaya Fund (a Berkeley-based social impact seed fund), and supports other charities and local animal shelters.

Kevin holds a BSBA in Finance from Miami University and an MBA from the University of California-Berkeley. He is an intentional user of cannabis, an advocate for industry gender and social equity, and always finds time to explore the outdoors with his rescue dog, Willie Nelson.
