Giles Whittell

Giles Whittell is World Affairs Editor at Tortoise and before that was the Times of London's bureau chief in Moscow, Washington and LA. He's the author of several books including Bridge of Spies and Snow: a Scientific and Cultural Exploration – a sidelong look at climate change. In a previous life he wrote about the collapse of communism in Eastern Europe (Lambada Country) and Central Asia (Extreme Continental).
