Kim Kardashian West
Entrepreneur, beauty mogul, producer and author, Kim Kardashian West first burst onto the scene in 2007 after the premiere of her hit E! Entertainment reality series “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” where she also holds an executive producer credit. Now filming its eighteenth season, the show has been recognized as the highest rated show on the E! Network.
Kardashian West has been passionate about the fight for criminal justice reform and she announced in May that she began studying in 2018 for a law degree through the apprenticeship program in the state of California. She is expected to take the bar in 2022. In April of this year, Oxygen will release, "Kim Kardashian West: The Justice Project," which captures Kim as she lends a hand to right the injustices and advocate for change by exploring four cases, all of whom she and the legal experts she is working alongside believe have been unfairly sentenced.
In September, she launched her anticipated shape wear brand, SKIMS, alongside her highly successful multimillion-dollar beauty brands KKW BEAUTY and KKW Fragrance which launched in 2017. She has been the face of advertising campaigns by YEEZY, Fendi, Balmain and CK as well as graced numerous national covers including Vogue, Forbes, ELLE, GQ, Marie Claire, Glamour, Cosmopolitan, Allure, Harper’s Bazaar, BOF, and Interview as well as the covers of many publications around the world.
Kardashian West has some of the most-followed social media pages in the world with over 240 million followers across Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. She is also supporter of numerous charitable organizations including the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, the Dream Foundation and disaster relief efforts including the recent fires in Los Angeles. This year, she helped open the Robert G. Kardashian Center for Esophageal Health at UCLA which will provide resources for groundbreaking research, patient care, and education/training, in addition to support of efforts in esophageal health.
