John Landry

Major John Landry is the Chief of Communication Plans at U.S. Army Futures Command. He is responsible for planning and synchronizing all of the command’s communication efforts.

Major Landry has more than 14 years of experience in the Army and has served across South Korea, Iraq, Afghanistan and the Pacific. He has been with Army Futures Command here in Austin since January 2019, helping it grow from nearly 40 to well over 25,000. He has a M.P.S. degree in Public Relations and Corporate Communications from Georgetown University, and a B.S. degree in Radio-Television-Film from The University of Texas at Austin.
