Natalya Gallo
Natalya Gallo is a post-doctoral scholar at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography at UCSD. She is working for the California Cooperative Oceanic Fisheries Investigations (CalCOFI) and is also an affiliate of the NOAA Southwest Fisheries Science Center and the Center for Climate Change Impacts and Adaptation. Her research focuses on climate change impacts in the California Current Ecosystem and on fisheries species. She is interested in how science can best inform policy and has participated in five international UN climate negotiations and the UN Oceans Conference. She was a Udall Scholar, NSF GRFP Fellow, Switzer Fellow and was named on the Forbes 30 Under 30 Science List in 2017.
