Nicolas is the CEO of AMI Paris, the designer men fashion brand. Nicolas joined AMI in 2013, both as investor
and CEO, taking the reins of strategy and development. Acting as each other’s co-pilot at the helm of AMI,
Nicolas, the CEO, and Alexandre Mattiussi, the Creative Director, form a dynamic and complementary working
Nicolas’ profound knowledge and understanding of the fashion and luxury industry stems from over 20 years of
experience, in Paris and New York.
An entrepreneur with an international profile, he is a co-founding partner of The Kooples, acting as its
Executive Director until 2012, when the brand had opened more than 350 stores in less than 5 years.
Prior to that, as international development director of Liste Rouge, he had launched the operations in the USA
and online of the high-end French custom shirt maker.
Nicolas advises young designers and sits on the board of a number of fashion and lifestyle companies, acting
both as an investor and a business angel..
He was elected in 2016 at the governing board of the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode in Paris
and was reappointed at his post in 2019. He is also member of the "Comité Stratégique de Filière Mode et
Luxe" (the Strategic Industry Committee for Fashion and Luxury) and Member of the Jury of the ANDAM
Originally from Marseille, Nicolas now resides in Paris with his wife and two kids.
