Edgar Farrera
Edgar is the first Director of Sustainability involved in Grand Prix racing in the 70 year history of Formula 1. Since 2011 Edgar has been Director of Sustainability at Circuit of The Americas, where he administers the venues corporate social responsibility and environmental social governance programs. Edgar is also a member of SAE International’s Green Racing Committee where he was a contributor to their recommended Green Racing Protocols, and lectures frequently about sustainability at major sporting events. He previously served as Chair for the Clean Energy Council of the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce. Edgar graduated from the University of Texas with a degree in Architecture.
