Bibiana Rojas
Bibiana is the Managing Director of Canopy Growth Colombia. Previously, she was the co-founder of Colombian
Cannabis and EduCannabis Foundation. Under her leadership, Colombian Cannabis set up a team of specialists
in this sector, secured the place for the production and extraction facilities, and obtained all the necessary
certifications to operate successfully in Colombia and throughout the region.
In July 2018, Colombian Cannabis was acquired by Canopy Growth, becoming the first unit of Canopy Latam
under the brand Canopy Growth Colombia. Bibiana continued her leadership role with the new organization, a
and along with her team, is responsible for supervising and managing the main production site in Neiva,
including the construction of extraction facilities and future operations in the country.
Bibiana Rojas was awarded with the business leadership medal given by the Neiva Chamber of Commerce, for
leading an innovative and avant-garde venture that generates employment opportunities in the region and
positively impacts people's lives.
In addition, she was the only Latin American woman selected by Marijuana Business Daily Magazine as
“Women to Watch 2019” due to her worldwide leadership in the industry and one of the 5 finalists worldwide
in the MJBiz Award, the most important awards in the Industry of cannabis, in the category "Giving Back to the
Community" due to the impact it has generated from its position as Country Managing Director of Canopy
Growth Colombia.
Bibiana holds a bachelor's degree in finance from Central University of Florida and an MBA from the Wharton
School of Business at University of Pennsylvania. Previously, she worked for international companies such as
Boston Consulting Group, Kimberly-Clark, Siemens and Morgan Stanley. For the past five years, Bibiana has
also been head of the Gold Group Strategy Office, a group of companies with presence in automotive,
construction, beverage and energy sectors.
