Hillel Frankel is a partner at the law firm of Mandell Menkes, LLC and runs their Nashville office on Music Row. Hillel’s legal clients include Americana, folk, country, EDM, blues, soul and rap artists, writers and producers. He also represents artists and music companies on copyright and trademark issues as well as transactional work on music publishing and master licensing for sync, advertising and catalogue sales. Hillel can often be heard at conferences and festivals speaking on intellectual property issues. In his not-so-former life as musician “Frankie Hill,” he recorded and toured internationally on keyboards and saxophone for numerous bands including GRAMMY-nominated Liquid Soul, LA’s Bonedaddys, and Chicago’s P-1 and Heavy Manners. He can be heard around Nashville sitting in with various groups on tenor sax.
