Roy Cho
Roy Cho negotiates carriage agreements for distribution of AMC, BBCA, BBC World News, Sundance and IFC and deals for premium upgrade and niche SVOD services with traditional affiliates, virtual MVPDs and new entrants such as Apple. Roy also negotiates carriage agreements for AMC and manages ongoing relationships with Canadian affiliates. Prior to AMCN, Roy worked as a corporate M&A attorney. While on leave of absence, Roy won the Democratic nomination for U.S. Congress in NJ’s 5th Congressional District with 90.4% of the vote. During his campaign, he raised $1.3 million, earned the newspaper endorsements of NJ’s largest newspapers and received 43% of the vote in the general election. Roy earned his J.D. from Georgetown Law. While studying as an evening student, he served as Correspondence Director to U.S. Senator Byron L. Dorgan. Roy earned his undergraduate degree in political science from Brown, where he graduated with honors.
