Katherine Kroll

Katherine Kroll is a Sustainable Investing Analyst at Brown Advisory, where she conducts ESG research for the firm’s institutional strategies and helps to lead its Shareholder Engagement efforts. Katherine is a member of several industry working groups as it relates to Shareholder Engagement including the Intentional Endowments Network (IEN) and the Shareholder Initiative for Climate and Sustainability (SICS). Additionally, Ms. Kroll is a chapter lead of Women Investing for a Sustainable Economy (WISE), an organization aimed at building community for professional women working in the ESG and Impact Investing space. She is also an MBA candidate at McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas.
Previously, Ms. Kroll helped to run the Shareholder Advocacy program at a mutual fund where she pushed companies to adopt socially responsible and sustainable business policies that benefitted long-term shareholder value. In this role, she strategically coordinated trillions of dollars in AUM to mobilize company action on issues including sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, and public health.
