Katy Brisbois
Bio: From her start at Universal Studios to the groundbreaking HBO SXSWestworld activation, Katy's 20 years of costuming and design experience has taken her across multiple entertainment platforms and industries designating her a leader of her craft.
Qualifications: Costume Designer to Wardrobe Supervisor, Katy has been part of some of the most talked about activations this past decade has seen: The Queen Mary's Dark Harbor, Bladerunner 2049 Experience, The Inkhole and HBO’s SXSWestworld.
Diversity: As a departmental head, Katy plays an integral part in developing the overall interactive experience. She recognizes the impact that costuming/wardrobe has on connecting characters to humanity and reality. Katy’s team approaches every project and off-site location as if it were their own home. Having the ability to acclimate to any experience enables them to dedicate their attention to the details of each character’s visual personality. From traveling with wardrobe in personal bags to shipping supplies in freights 10 days in advance, Katy describes her team as “a full package costume shop; seamstress, stylist, craft person; we come prepared for anything and everything”.
