Cintia Gates is the Global Senior Manager for electronics waste and Copyright Levy Fee for Microsoft Corporation, where her team manages all aspects of government mandated consumer programs ensuring Microsoft is in compliance with global regulatory requirements in this space.
Cintia and her team also lead the development and implementation of global voluntary consumer recycling programs to ensure conformance with global green procurement initiatives.
She routinely works with various trade associations to understand regulatory developments in various countries.
Cintia has more than 13 years of hands-on experience in the consumer electronics recycling field, from an OEM perspective. Cintia is trilingual in Portuguese, Spanish and English and resides in Austin, TX, USA.
