Nicholas Selz is currently the Global Head of Entertainment Product Marketing, focusing on YouTube’s Original Programming, Licensing & Live Sports businesses. In his over 8 years at YouTube he has helped launch and grow multiple new products & businesses including their subscription service, original content initiative, ad-supported live sports business & creator spotlight marketing tentpoles. In this role he has extensive experience building out short & long term business plans including content & marketing strategy, working closely with product executives to figure out user flows & funnels and PRDs, & partnering with data scientists to uncover critical insights that can push the business forward. He has global experience having worked on the ground in Argentina & Brazil and partnered with local teams on launches in multiple markets in Europe and Asia. Prior to YouTube, Nicholas worked for the digital marketing company Razorfish and his academic background is in Cognitive Science with a focus on reasoning & decision making.
