Enrico Palermo

Enrico leads The Spaceship Company’s (TSC) spaceship design, manufacturing and testing operations at the Mojave Air and Space Port in Mojave, California. TSC is Virgin Galactic’s sister manufacturing organization. Enrico joined the Virgin Galactic startup team in 2006 in London. As TSC’s first employee in 2008, Enrico led TSC’s founding from a business plan concept to a thriving spaceship manufacturing and flight test operation. TSC was the first dedicated engineering, manufacturing and flight test enterprise in Richard Branson’s global Virgin Group. Enrico has built the team and a company that has now delivered its first spaceship, VSS Unity, to crewed, powered flight test, reaching space for the first time in December 2018. The team is now assembling additional vehicles for Virgin Galactic’s spaceline operations.
