Carley is CEO of Equatorial Launch Australia (ELA), a start-up working to build and operate Australia’s first commercial spaceport, located in Australia’s Northern Territory. In 2019, ELA announced plans with NASA to launch rockets from ELA’s Arnhem Space Centre, marking the first time NASA will use a private, non-government launch site. Carley is an award-winning CEO with experience building complex businesses in diverse settings, and driven by a passion for space, enterprise and economic development.
