As the CEO & President of The Karis Group (TKG), Kim is committed to enabling access to quality, appropriate affordable care. By delivering tools and services to companies that reduce members or employee’s healthcare expenses. Prior to being CEO, Kim served as SVP of Operations at Karis.
As the CEO and founder of Seremedi Inc. a digital health company, Kim delivered CareScriptions® a connected virtual health solution that monitors and activates patient adherence. Kim has chosen patient and consumer health advocacy as a purpose and is committed to empowering consumers with tools and information to easily engage in their treatment to create healthy outcomes for themselves. Previously, Kim served as the President of Blue Lance and the CEO of Secure Vantage Technology, Inc. where she was responsible for leading product directions and business strategies. Prior experience includes business development and M&A where she was responsible for identifying, investing, acquiring and integrating strategic assets for Microsoft and BMC Software.
Kim completed the Wharton executive management program as a member of the Microsoft leadership team. Kim was as a member of the founding teams for the HATCHpitch competition and Impact Pediatric Health for innovative start-ups at SXSW. Kim serves as Chairperson for Energizing Health, a non-profit organization committed to healthcare access and health justice for underserved communities, a judge at the distinguished Rice Business Plan competition; a coach for fast track early stage companies at SXSW Interactive and AARP. Kim is committed to the wellbeing of her family and communities. She serves on several boards and organizations.
Kim holds a bachelor’s degree from Wayne State University.
