Tarik Mohamed
Tarik Mohamed is an award-winning Immersive Media Specialist, with an extensive background in film production, marketing and advertising. Tarik has spent his career at OUTFRONT Media, pioneering their visual communication strategy and ensuring their status as the largest advertising company in North America.
Tarik also crafts and designs experiential activations, hackathons, and thematic escape rooms with the vision of inspiring viewers with spellbinding experiences that connect them to important global issues facing our world. He has worked in the virtual reality space since 2014, creating experiences for numerous organizations including UNICEF, USA Today VR, Now This, and Explore Brooklyn. He is also the director and producer of a highly successful 360’ video travel and educational series called “Escape Now,” which takes viewers on a journey to iconic places around the world. The series is available across all major VR platforms reaching over 3 million people and counting.
Tarik has advised organizations on immersive and digital media and run workshops at Harvard University and Create 2030. He is a licensed real estate agent and photovoltaic technician. He is fluent in Spanish and conversational in Arabic.
