Carly Mcginnis

Carly McGinnis is the Head of Production, Sales and Logistics at Exploding Kittens, the hit tabletop game creator. In this role, McGinnis oversees the day-to-day operations at the company including the production and logistics of physical games as well as retail distribution and marketing strategy.

Under McGinnis’ leadership, Exploding Kittens has sold 11 million tabletop games to date and launched seven additional titles beyond the flagship game, all of which are sold in major retailers including Amazon, Target, Walmart, and more. McGinnis joined Exploding Kittens in January 2015 after its overnight international success raising nearly $9 million in 30 days on Kickstarter. Today it is still the most-backed Kickstarter campaign in history with over 219,000 backers.

Prior to Exploding Kittens, McGinnis worked with the Interactive Division at Xbox Entertainment Studios. Her team developed original TV content for the Xbox console, incorporating interactive features to enhance and differentiate the traditional TV viewing experience. She began her career in talent representation at Endeavor, followed by Brillstein Entertainment where she worked with a renowned group of clients including JJ Abrams, Jennifer Aniston, Mark Ruffalo, Paul Rudd, Natalie Portman, Adam Sandler and Gwyneth Paltrow.
