Andrew Plotkin is an entertainment industry veteran with years of experience as a multifaceted executive and hands-on producer.

In Plotkin’s current capacity as a drama development executive at Sony Pictures Television, he’s been responsible for the development and launch of The Boys (Amazon), LA’s Finest (Charter), Deadly Class (Syfy), and For All Mankind (Apple+); as well as the upcoming Them (Amazon), For Life (ABC) and Lincoln (NBC).

Prior to working at Sony Plotkin was EVP, Television, at New Regency Productions where in addition to scripted programming, he developed and sold numerous film titles, including Man On Fire, Marley & Me, and James Elroy’s LA Confidential.

Prior to joining New Regency, Plotkin spent three years at Syfy as SVP of Original Programming, and before that helped lead Warner Bros Television to an unprecedented five years as the number one supplier of shows to all major broadcast and cable networks. Here Plotkin developed and launched hit shows including Smallville, Without A Trace, Cold Case, Veronica Mars, and Nip/Tuck.

Plotkin co-founded Class IV Productions, an independent production company.
